BPC have a range of rectangular pvc ducting from verplas, vent axia , airflow, nuaire, manrose, quiet-vent

204x60mm rectangular ducting is manufactured to meet the ventilation requirements of modern building design, in particular apartments. The Verplas rectangular duct systems are designed to maximise airflow and contribute to lower system resistance. 110x54mm offers the ideal solution for traditional fan installations into extensions and refurbishment properties while our high flow 220x90mm ducting offers increased free area to accommodate larger airflow requirements for properties with non-open windows whilst ensuring ceiling installation space is kept to a minimum.

To prevent any air leakage which could affect the commissioning of a MVHR system, when connecting two pieces of ductwork together: Nuaire recommends using Nuaire Self- Seal, a simple and innovative solution that ensures the air leakage in and out of the duct joint is kept to an absolute minimum and conforms to building regulations. The component provides a fit and forget solution removing the requirement for traditional taping and sealing of ducted joints and significantly reduces installation time If you choose not to use Nuaire Self-Seal, make sure you use a non-hardening acrylic sealant and aluminium duct tape W hen installing rectangular or flat ducting there is a tendency for it to bow in the middle, to avoid this ensure you use a product such as Nuaire’s with guide veins as this will hold it together.
